The 'Green in Shatin' environmental education event continues into the new year with back-to-back activities!

Ding-dong~ For our second stop, we will be heading to Shatin Mei Tin Estate to hold a Green Estate Carnival.

There will be a variety of environmental protection activities on the day, including special eco-friendly interactive games and a tutorial on creating egg carton plants to welcome a green new year. Participants can also make lemon dish soap on-site, harnessing natural power to help residents renew their homes.

The event will also feature an environmental recycling station and a popular second-hand exchange market. By collecting 'Green Tokens' from the booths, participants can take home second-hand items donated by the community, adding new household items for the new year.

There will also be a wishing tree at the event, where residents can hang their green wishes for the new year. Through informative eco-friendly displays, participants can learn about low-carbon living and join the 'Reward' recycling program, making recycling a breeze going forward.
